Surprise!!!

We tried to think of creative ways to tell our family and friends that we were having a baby. I think the best one was with Gabe's two sisters, Ashley and Alyssa. We wanted to wait and tell them in person, so I was about 12 weeks when we told them the good news. We all met up in Nashville for a weekend of family fun. We all got there on Friday night, greeted everyone, and Gabe's parents pretended like they wanted to get the family together for a group picture. Gabe pretended to take a picture and when it was time for everyone to smile, Gabe said, "Everybody say, JENNIFER'S HAVING A BABY" and instead of taking a picture he was videotaping the whole thing. It was really funny to see their reactions. We are so glad we got it all on camera and we are able to watch it over and over. I have posted the video below for all to see. Enjoy!

Pregnancy Progress

Well, if you haven't already heard, Gabe and I are having a baby! We are so excited and cannot wait to meet our bundle of joy. I am 17 weeks along so far and feeling great. The pregancy has not been hard on me at all. There were a few weeks in my first trimester that I felt a little uneasy, but no sickness!!! Second trimester has been great, I have gotten my energy back and haven't been as tired as I was in the first trimester. We are excited to find out if we are having a boy or a girl, we will find out on December 7th. Gabe thinks it's going to be a boy, and I think it's going to be a girl, so it will be interesting to find out who's right. I have been taking pictures along the way, I haven't really hit a huge growth spurt yet, but hopefully I will start showing soon enough. Thanksgiving is right around the corner, I can't wait to hang out with all of our family and friends and eat lots of TURKEY. Here are some pictures of my progress.
