Weekend with Friends

We had such a blast this past weekend at KY lake with all of my old college roomates. Usually, all the girls just get together, but this time we decided to bring the hubbies/boyfriends and kids along. It was so much fun to watch all the little kids play and interact with each other. It was complete chaos the whole weekend, but it was so worth it! Brooke made these cute little onesies and t-shirts for all the kids so we could do a photoshoot with them on Sunday. The shirts turned out great and the pictures were so cute! Here are just a few pictures from the weekend.

Here is a quick clip that Alyssa recorded of Ava and Gabe playing last night. She loves to be thrown up in the air, bounced around, and flying. I think this video is so cute, I love listening to her little squeal and seeing the huge smile on her face when she looks at her daddy. Melts my heart :)

Jeff and Jen's Wedding

This past weekend we had to travel to Ohio for a wedding. It was Ava's first plane ride and it was an adventure. On Friday, we had a direct flight, so it wasn't too bad, but Sunday we had a layover and two plane rides, so it was a little more challenging, but we made it! Gabe and I were so exhausted after the weekend, but we had so much fun. It is always a good time when we go to Ohio and visit with all of Gabe's high school buddies. Ava got to meet Kellen (Gabe's godson) for the first time and I think they were both a little smitten :). Just check out the pictures below of the two of them. Kellen was blowing her kisses and Ava was all smiles anytime he came around, it was too cute!

Labor Day Weekend

I know Labor Day was a couple of weeks ago, but things have been so busy, so I am just now getting around to publishing the pictures. We had so much fun over Labor Day Weekend. Ashley came to vist all the way from Charleston...it's always a good time with the whole Beyl clan can get together. You never know what is going to happen! We went over to the lake for one last warm weekend of fun. Ava enjoyed the boat ride and the weather was absolutely gorgeous! It was not very hot at all, so we got to stay out on the boat without having to worry about Ava getting too hot. We had friends over on Friday and Saturday night and then relaxed and ordered in pizza on Sunday night. We miss Ashley and David so much, but we will be seeing her soon when we take our vacation to Charleston in October. We are so excited and can't wait to see her and David! 5 Months Old

Ava turned 5 months old on September 4th...my how time flies! She is now rolling over from her stomach to back, she can push her self all the way up with elbows extended, she giggles and laughs on a daily basis, and she is grabbing her toes. She is also talking in her sleep now, it's the cutest thing. She is very curious, always grabbing things and putting things in her mouth. She has a very tight grip and it's hard to get her to let go sometimes. I have lost so much hair because of her, she loves to hang on to her mommy's long hair! She is eating breakfast, lunch, and supper now. She loves squash and sweet potatoes. Here are just a few pictures from her 5 month mark.

Bath Time and other Fun Activities

I just realized that I have no bath time pictures on my blog (shame on me!). Bath time is Ava's FAVORITE time, so it's only proper to get a few bath time pictures up. I don't have many, but here are just a couple from my phone. Momma's little cutie!
