This past weekend was so much fun, we had a family weekend packed with some fun little adventures for Ava to enjoy. We didn't let the cold weather get in our way! On Friday, we went over to Jerry and Dianna's to celebrate Gabe's promotion to a manager (YAY for Gabe!) He has worked so hard to get to where he is and I am so proud of him for it. To celebrate, we hung out over there for a while with family and friends and then came back to the house and had a slumber party with Aunt Smo (Alyssa). We watched Step Up 3 (save your time and money, this movie is not very good).
On Saturday, we ventured off to the dog park with our two favorite dogs, Roxy and Scarlett. It was so funny to watch Scarlett chase all the other dogs around and dive right into the pond, even though it was cold outside. She has no fear! Ava enjoyed watching all the different breeds of dogs roam around the park.
On Sunday, we went up to FedEx to help Gabe get his office ready for Monday morning. We weren't sure how Ava was going to do since we were trying to get some cleaning and work done, but she actually did very well. She enjoyed helping Gabe go through all his old papers, she loved to crinkle them up and she even tried to eat the paper a couple of times. We stayed there for a whopping 3 hours and Ava loved every minute of it!
